Navigating to Benson Days with Omaha Metro
Metro is inviting you to celebrate Benson Days and skip the hassle of searching for a parking spot. Let us
do the driving for you! There are a few things you should know: On Saturday, July 30th Maple Street will
close to traffic from 56th to 62nd for the Benson Days Parade. So, that morning, our regular Route 4 will
be on detour through 1 p.m.
The detour will take Route 4 just a few blocks north to Spencer along the main Benson strip. You can
pick up the bus at alternate stops.
Heading East those stops are: 65th & Maple midblock, 65th & Wirt SW, NW Radial & 61st SW ,
NW Radial & 60th SW , NW Radial & 58th SW , and NW Radial & 56th SW .
And West: NW Radial & 56th NE , NW Radial & 58th NE , NW Radial & 60th NE , NW
Radial & 61st NE , 65th & Wirt NW, 65th & Maple NW, and Maple & 66th Ave NE .
It’s a good idea to flag down the bus drivers at these alternate stops, so they know you want to ride.
Make sure to stroll around our neighborhood and enjoy our vibrant area everyday!
Proceeds from Benson Days support Grace Young Park updates.
