One popular element of Benson Days is showcasing creativity and local indie companies. We offer an opportunity for visitors to do both with the booths that are part of our event each year.
Booth Date: Saturday, July 30, 2022 only
Booth Space: 10'x 10' squares.
Booth Time: 10am to 4pm unless you have made arrangements have been made and agreed upon by the Benson Days Team
Booth Locations: Maple Street from 6oth Street to 63rd Street on the north and south side of the street.
Booth Set Up time: 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022
Booth Take Down time: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. You must have your booth torn down by 6:00 p.m. and all trash removed from your area. If you leave boxes or trash that requires additional cleaning, Benson Days Team reserves the right and will charge you a booth cleaning fee of $50 that will be charged to your paypal or credit card you have used to pay your booth fee.
Weather: This event will be held rain or shine.
You mush provide your own tents, tables, chairs, etc.
Booths must be constructed in a manner that is safe for you, your workers and the public
You are responsible for posting prices or a menu for public view
You are responsible for any applicable sales tax. Go to revenue.nebraska.gov/businesses/sales-and-use-tax for more information
No electricity is available for booths. No generators will be allowed in the booths (too loud for the people next to you), and don't event think to try to ask a business or siphon from a lamp pole. That is not cool.
Alcoholic drinks, smoking/vaping, illegal drugs and firearms are not allowed in your booth space.
Booths must appear clean and neat throughout the event. Your trash must be deposited in a nearby trash car throughout the day.
Booth location will be decided by the Benson Days Booth Team
Food Vendors are only allowed to sell food. All other booths will not be allowed to sell any food or drinks or distribute any free food or drink.
Limitation to stated activities: If accepted, you must limit your activities at Benson Days to those that you state on your application. You must also limit the conduct of those activities to your booth space(s). Sales or distribution of anything done by walking/traveling throughout the Benson Days grounds is not permitted.
Cancellations: you may cancel your application in writing at any time up to specified date. for a refund of all fees paid. Cancellations made after this date will not receive any fees paid.
Fees: The entire balance is due at the time your booth application has been accepted. Payments are made via Paypal.
Parking: Accepted bendors can park in available spaces on public streets surrounding Maple Street. No vehicles are allowed on the enclosed portion of Maple Street and on streets blocked with barricades. Sections of Maple Street will open up throughout the day for evening parking.
Process of getting a booth:
Fill out application and submit by specific date.
Each application will be reviewed and those accepted will be notified by specific date. After that, payment will need to be made to secure the space. Non-payment of booth fee by specific date will forefit booth space.
BRICK AND MORTAR BUSINESSES ON MAPLE STREET DEADLINE IS
Unfortunately not everyone who applies will be accepted. Bring your A game when applying. Benson is known for creativity, diversity and community. Hopefully your application showcases how you fit in well at Benson Days.
