One popular element of Benson Days is showcasing creativity and local indie companies with a space during our event.
Booth Date: Saturday, July 27, 2024 ONLY
Booth Space: 10'x 10' squares.
Booth Time: 10:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. unless previous arrangements have been made & agreed upon by the Benson Days Team
Booth Locations: Maple Street from 60th Street to 63rd Street on the north and south side of the street.
Booth Set Up time: 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Your vehicle must be off Maple Street by 9:30 a.m. so please arrive early to unload and find parking.
Booth Take Down time: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. You must have your booth torn down by 6:00 p.m. and all trash removed from your area. If you leave boxes or trash that requires additional cleaning, Benson Days Team reserves the right and will charge you a booth cleaning fee of $50 that will be charged to your paypal or credit card you have used to pay your booth fee.
Weather: This event will be held rain or shine.
You mush provide your own tents, tables, chairs, and displays. You must also provide weights around 40 lbs. for each pole because Maple Street can get quite windy.
Booths must be constructed in a manner that is safe for you, your workers and the public.
You are responsible for posting prices or a menu for public view,

No electricity is available for booths. No generators will be allowed in the booths (too loud for the people next to you), and don't ask a business or try to siphon from a lamp pole. The light poles don't have power until the evening.
Alcoholic drinks, smoking/vaping and illegal drugs are not allowed in your booth space.
Booths must appear clean and neat throughout the event. Your trash must be deposited in a nearby trash car throughout the day.
Booth location will be decided by the Benson Days Booth Team. We will be happy to review any special requests that you list on your application.
Food Vendors are only allowed to sell food. All other booths will not be allowed to sell any food or drinks or distribute any free food or drink.
Limitation to stated activities: If accepted, you must limit your activities and items that you sell at Benson Days to those that you state on your application. You must also limit the conduct of those activities to your booth space(s). Sales or distribution of anything done by walking/traveling throughout the Benson Days grounds is not permitted.
Cancellations: You can cancel your application via email at any time up to June 1, 2024. for a refund of all fees paid. Cancellations made after June 1, 2024 will not receive any fees paid.
Fees: The entire balance is due by May 1, 2024. Payments are made via Paypal.
Parking: Accepted vendors can park in available spaces on public streets surrounding Maple Street. No vehicles are allowed on the enclosed portion of Maple Street and on streets blocked with barricades. Sections of Maple Street will open up throughout the day for evening parking.
Process of getting a booth:
Fill out application and submit by February 29, 2024.
Each application will be reviewed and those accepted will be notified by March 15, 2024. After that, payment will need to be made to secure the space by May 1, 2024. Non-payment of booth fee by May 1, 2024 will mean forefiture of booth space.
Unfortunately not everyone who applies will be accepted. Bring your A game when applying. Benson is known for creativity, diversity and community. Your application showcases will need to show the Benson Days Team that you fit in well at Benson Days.

If you are new to Benson Days art marketplace and consider yourself an emerging artist, we encourage you to apply as an Emerging Artist.
ABOUT THE PROGRAMRadial Arts Center and Benson Days are teaming up to launch an Emerging Artists Program! The Emerging Artists Program is a workshop series that provides a pathway for early-career artists into an established community art fair and craft marketplace. With a free 10’x 10’ booth space, extensive exhibitor support, and booth award opportunities, this program gives emerging artists an opportunity to grow their clientele and careers. Artists may enroll in the program for one cycle.
We are now accepting applications for the Emerging Artists Program from December 1, 2023 to February 29, 2024 on Benson Days’ website https://www.bensondays.com. To be notified when applications open for future marketplace opportunities, please join our exhibitor email list [email protected]. You'll receive details about taking part in our in-person events, along with other special opportunities for artists.
WHY PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM

- Engagement with established makers and a supportive community of fellow emerging artists
- A high level of exhibitor support, including a dedicated program manager plus marketing and public relations support
- Promotion in advertising, social media, and on site
- Offer a distinct vision, authentic voice, and have a focused direction and goals
- Show evidence of professional achievement but haven’t yet established a solid reputation as an artist/maker/business within their field, the media, funding circles, or the public at large
- Applicants will submit an application form and application images.
- Applications to participate in the program at the 2024 Benson Days are open December 1, 2023 – February 29, 2024, Artists applying to our 2024 marketplace through the Emerging Artists program will not have to submit an application fee.
- Applicants must apply to the program exclusively, and application submissions will be reviewed by a jury panel.
